every day the change changes again every day i try to escape my bed every time i reach out to a friend i'm afraid it's happening again

why are you so mad that i'm changing why you you so sad to see me go everything was bad until the dawn broke like a damn and drained the darkness crushing our rusted souls
but you! oh you though! never content do you not understand that we are impermanent oh me! oh me! oh my! i don't understand what makes you so complacent!

every day the date changes again every meal i make i will forget i forgot to douse the embers in my bed sleeping in the soot and ash again
as before i'm lying in the black trusting once again that i'll come back when i blindly reach out for you hand it's not there i forgot again
